We are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join our team at Curtiss-Wright. As an EHS Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and environmental compliance of our operations.

• Provide technical assistance to safety leadership teams, safety observers, and supervisory personnel to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and surveys to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate serious injuries, illnesses, and near-miss incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Act as an advisory expert to local management and supervisors on matters of injury and illness prevention, industrial hygiene, and environmental regulations.
• Develop and maintain EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead the Safety Committee to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
• Manage the purchasing and inventory of safety equipment to ensure availability and effectiveness.
• Coordinate activities with the first aid and emergency response team to ensure a prompt and effective response to emergencies.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, including local, state, and federal health and safety codes and standards.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in EHS management and compliance.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or OSHA 30 hours certification.
• Manufacturing environment experience.
• Environmental compliance knowledge.
