Computed Tomography Imaging Specialist

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team of dedicated caregivers. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of patients and providing high-quality computed tomography imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Acquire patient chart data and review requisitions to determine correct room setup and identify any specific medical problems or contraindications to the study.
• Educate patients regarding the procedure, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain all aspects of the CT area, including technical and clerical components, to ensure proper quality assurance results and required documentation.
• Complete and ensure that all electronic data is sent to its appropriate destination.
• Inspect equipment to ensure proper orientation and contact service if necessary.
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and in good standing.
• Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required within one year of hire: R.T.(R) (CT) (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Two years of experience as an Imaging Technologist in an acute care imaging setting.
