As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will provide primary support to our providers by preparing patients for visits, maintaining efficient patient flow, and assisting with treatments and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for visits and maintain efficient patient flow
  • Assist providers with treatments and procedures
  • Perform and operate cardiology monitoring devices, including EKG, holter monitors, event recorders, and pacemaker checks
  • Maintain a clean, stocked, safe, and well-organized patient care environment
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a cardiac setting
  • Specialized training in clinical medical skills from an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Current training in BLS (AHA, American Red Cross, and ASHI Healthcare Provider) and emergency response trainings
  • High School Diploma or GED
