Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineering Manager to lead our team of Electrical Controls Engineers at Opportunity Group, Inc. in Holland, MI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Electrical Controls Engineers in the design, development, and implementation of electrical control systems.
  • Mentor and coach team members to foster growth and development, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Manage component ordering for projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Solve complex problems related to process and control systems, utilizing expertise in electrical engineering and control systems.
  • Oversee projects from concept through installation, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Machine Designers and Project Managers to ensure project accuracy and completion, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related field.
  • Proven leadership and management experience, with a track record of success in leading high-performing teams.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in PLC programming, with expertise in Allen Bradley RSLogix5000 and Siemens S7 Controls.
  • Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary: $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year.
