Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing of medications, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

• Assist Pharmacists: Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and labeling.
• Customer Service: Engage with customers, answer questions, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring the pharmacy is stocked with necessary medications and equipment.
• Clinical Support: Assist pharmacists with clinical services, including blood draws, medication therapy management, and patient education.
• Operations: Assist with daily pharmacy operations, including processing prescriptions, handling customer transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 6 months of experience in a retail or healthcare environment preferred.
• Certifications: PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
• Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
