Key Responsibilities- Internal and External Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into internal and external theft, including reviewing security footage, interviewing employees and customers, and analyzing data to identify trends and patterns.
- Physical Security: Ensure that all physical security equipment, including cameras, alarms, and locks, is functioning properly and effectively.
- Case Management: Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed case reports documenting incidents, including witness statements, evidence, and conclusions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with store leadership, law enforcement, and other stakeholders to share information, coordinate efforts, and resolve issues.
- Training and Development: Assist in training new asset protection associates and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Compliance and Regulatory: Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices, and ensure that all asset protection activities are conducted in compliance with these requirements.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees, customers, and law enforcement.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends and patterns, and develop effective solutions to complex problems.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Travel: Ability to travel as required, including overnight stays and weekend work.
- Competitive Salary: $27.25 per hour.
