About the Job

This is a supervisory position in the Department of Health and Human Services, responsible for leading a team of dentists and dental hygienists in providing high-quality oral health care to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the dental team, ensuring that patients receive excellent care and that the clinic operates efficiently.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and clinic operations.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of dental staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
  • Manage the clinic's budget and resources, ensuring that they are used effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from a school approved by the American Dental Association (ADA) or the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
  • At least one year of experience as a dentist, with a strong background in leadership and management.
