Optician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Optician to join our team at Hunter Family Vision. As an Optician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional eye care services to our patients, ensuring their vision needs are met with the highest level of quality and care.

• Work closely with patients to understand their eye care needs and provide personalized recommendations for eyewear and eye exams.
• Dispense prescription eyewear to patients, ensuring accurate measurements and proper fitting.
• Apply insurance and create patient optical and eye exam invoices.
• Order prescription lenses from the lab and check jobs in when they arrive.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patients feel valued and satisfied with their experience.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years previous Optician experience preferred.
• Fashion savvy and enjoy helping people in a customer setting.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written), including strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable with sales and making transactions.
• Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
