Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Child and Family Therapist to join our team at Compass Health. As a Child and Family Therapist, you will work with children and their families to provide individualized, creative, and strength-based approaches to support their well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services using evidence-based practice models to support children and families in a least restrictive and community-based environment.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments, interventions, and evaluations to support children and families in achieving their goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and providers to ensure comprehensive support for children and families.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a behavioral science-related field (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling).
  • Qualifies as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) as defined by WAC.
  • Meets educational and training requirements for designation as a Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with children and families in a mental health or social services setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with evidence-based practices (EBPs) or interest and ability to learn.
  • Valid Washington State driver's license and vehicle insurance.
