Job Summary:

Exeter Health Resources is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team on weekends. As an MRI Technologist, you will work under the clinical direction of a Radiologist and the administrative direction of the Director of Imaging to perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI Procedures: Review medical records for patient history and pertinent information, review requisitions with physicians, explain procedures to patients, and select proper techniques/protocols to obtain optimal scans.
  • Review Studies: Review MRI studies for overall quality and ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Organize Daily Work Schedule: Plan and manage daily work schedules, responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Maintain Equipment: Perform daily calibration checks on equipment and alert the service team to any issues.
  • Provide Instruction: Educate medical and hospital staff on MRI safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Board certified by AART or eligible, ARMRIT Registered, NH MIRT, and BCLS Certified.
