NAPA Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist at NAPA Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents with various diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to address clients' limitations and goals.
- Utilize a range of therapy techniques, including exercises, stretching, and gait analysis, to address presented conditions.
- Prescribe home exercise programs and provide patient/caregiver training in the use of assistive technology devices and mobility devices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive developmental approaches to client-centered care.
- Develop and maintain rapport with clients and their families to build trust and mutual respect.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
- At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in pediatric occupational therapy, preferably in a setting with exposure to children with disabilities.
- Current licensure with the appropriate licensing board.
- Background clearance by the DOJ and FBI.
- Annual TB test clearance and CPR/First Aid certificates.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
