Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented General Merchandise Expert to join our team. As a General Merchandise Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring that our sales floor is stocked, accurately priced, and visually appealing. You will also be responsible for executing daily and weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a welcoming experience for our guests by authentically greeting them and providing excellent customer service.
  • Observe and respond to guest needs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Be knowledgeable about our products and services to solve issues for guests and improve their shopping experience.
  • Ensure that our sales floor is zoned, in stock, and accurately signed and priced for guests.
  • Execute inbound, replenishment, backroom, and signing processes for General Merchandise areas.
  • Operate power equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow processes accurately with attention to detail and monitor own progress.
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
Requirements
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Resolve guest questions quickly and efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
  • Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
