Job Summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and communicate progress or concerns to supervisors and colleagues.
  • Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, and accreditation requirements, as well as maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Provide education and training to patients' families and nursing staff on follow-through programs and strategies to support patient recovery.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment by maintaining equipment and adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Participate in marketing efforts, team conferences, and in-services to promote the company's mission and values.
  • Adhere to the company's Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, and applicable state/federal laws.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Meet the education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA.
  • Minimum of six months experience working with adult and geriatric populations.
  • Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are rendered.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
