Survey CAD Technician

Actalent is seeking a skilled Survey CAD Technician to join our team. As a Survey CAD Technician, you will play a critical role in creating accurate and detailed drawings and survey maps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize software to create accurate and detailed drawings and survey maps.
• Collaborate with management and field crew to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Draft survey plans for boundary, ALTA, topographic, subdivision, easement, and other surveys.
• Ensure all drawings comply with required standards and regulations.
• Work directly with professional surveyor and field personnel to ensure timely project completion within budgets.
• Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and revisions and assist with the organization of survey records, documents, and project files.
• Ability to read and interpret field notes, data files, and construction drawings and assist with construction calculations for staking on construction sites.
• Ensure that all drafts comply with industry standards, local regulations, and project requirements.

Requirements:

• Software proficiency for drawing and mapping.
• Drafting survey plans.
• Reading and interpreting field notes, data files, and construction drawings.
• Construction calculations for staking.
• Compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
• Experience with Carlson, AutoCAD and/or OpenRoads.
