Career Systems Development Corporation is seeking a dedicated and passionate Substitute Academic Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our education team, you will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate students between the ages of 16-24, helping them to achieve their full potential.

As a Substitute Academic Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in designated subject areas, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment, and establishing strong relationships with students and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

Foster a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusivity within the classroom setting.

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and effective communication.

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.

Requirements:

Minimum: State certification, licensure, or accreditation in the relevant subject area. No prior teaching experience is required, but candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of the subject matter and ability to transfer knowledge to students.

Preferred: Extensive practical knowledge of the subject area and teaching experience.

Knowledge: Understanding of adolescent development, learning theories, and instructional strategies; ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
