Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
  • Position patients appropriately to scan specific areas of their bodies.
  • Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.
  • Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
  • Correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions.
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
  • Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and provide reassurance and support as required.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Computed Tomography Technologist program
  • Minimum three years of Computed Tomography Technologist experience
  • Active unencumbered CT Tech New Jersey state license
Preferred Qualifications
  • COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
