We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
- Position patients appropriately to scan specific areas of their bodies.
- Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.
- Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
- Correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions.
- Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
- Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
- Communicate effectively with patients and provide reassurance and support as required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong technical skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Passionate about patient care
- Graduate from a fully accredited Computed Tomography Technologist program
- Minimum three years of Computed Tomography Technologist experience
- Active unencumbered CT Tech New Jersey state license
- COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
