We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN to join our esteemed healthcare facility. This role focuses on providing exceptional care in a Progressive Neuro Care Unit (PNCU).
Certification Requirements- Mandatory Certifications: BLS & ACLS
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a hospital environment is essential.
- Licensure: An active compact license is required at the time of submission.
This position involves working every third weekend.
Unit Details- Unit Capacity: 23 beds
- Staff Composition: 19 RNs, including a Clinical Coordinator on both day and night shifts.
- Patient Ratios: 4:1 to 5:1
- Equipment Utilized: Feeding pumps, peg tubes, IVs, central lines, drains, EKGs
- Electronic Medical Records: Meditech
The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of teamwork, compassion, and patience. Preferred attributes include excellent communication skills and neuro assessment capabilities.
Typical ProceduresResponsibilities may include assisting neurologists with bedside lumbar punctures, central line dressing changes, tube feedings, and managing wound cases.
