Position Overview: The Department of Psychology at Rutgers University-New Brunswick is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual for the role of Assistant Teaching Professor in Behavioral & Systems Neuroscience Psychology. This position is non-tenure track and offers an annual renewable contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach a total of six courses annually, typically three per semester.
- Focus on courses related to behavioral neuroscience, including physiological psychology, learning processes, and neuropsychology.
- Occasionally instruct other essential courses within the curriculum, such as quantitative methods and general psychology.
Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related discipline is required.
- Strong teaching evaluations and experience with innovative instructional methods are highly desirable.
