Key Responsibilities
  • Materials Management: Oversee the receipt, inventory, distribution, and issuance of materials within our Fulfillment and Manufacturing facilities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Materials Coordinators, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to ensure they meet their goals and objectives.
  • Inventory Management: Review and analyze inventory levels, identifying trends and actionable items to optimize inventory management and minimize stockouts.
  • Purchase Order Management: Approve and manage purchase orders, ensuring they are in accordance with company procedures and standards.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors to resolve escalated materials issues, investigate and resolve defective product issues, and establish contingency plans to minimize material shortages.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Collaborate with local Material Coordinators to track material usage, maintain and distribute weekly forecasts reports for key vendors, and perform back testing on forecasted data to ensure accuracy.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or 3-5 years of related experience in Fulfillment, Distribution, or Manufacturing.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Office, experience using warehouse-based software, and ability to manage multiple projects with flexible hours.
  • Abilities: Strong influencing skills, ability to present content in a variety of settings, and experience supporting hourly populations in environments such as manufacturing, distribution, and/or call centers.
