Position Summary:

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough inspections of products using advanced visual aids and mechanical measuring instruments to ensure compliance with both internal standards and customer specifications. This role involves a detailed analysis of technical documentation, including assembly instructions, engineering schematics, and specifications, to:

  • Detect and address any discrepancies impacting product configuration.
  • Determine and assign necessary rework actions for production items.
  • Approve work-in-process items for subsequent operations.

Key Skills:

  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Maintain constructive and professional relationships with colleagues and management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications.
  • Experience in electronic assembly processes, including SMT, T/H, and mechanical assembly.
  • Skilled in operating visual magnification tools.
  • Competence in using and interpreting basic electronic measuring instruments.
  • Ability to utilize and understand basic mechanical measuring tools.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; some college education is preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills are necessary.
  • Good visual acuity and hand-eye coordination are essential.
  • Capability to review and interpret technical documentation for electronic assemblies.
