We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cafe Associate to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Cafe Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare food according to item specifications, understanding and planning future productions and mass productions.
- Customer Service: Provide fast and friendly service to members, listening to their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with members of the team, and be flexible to the needs of the business.
- Sanitation and Safety: Adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory, operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment, and demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution.
- Food Service Experience: Previous experience in food service, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Food Safety Certification: Possess a valid food safety certification, such as Food Handler Certification.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with members and team members.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
