Job Summary

This is a Substitute position for the Building Nurse. Under general supervision of the building principal and the certified school nurse, this person ensures that direct nursing services are provided to students and staff members to maximize health and wellness in the school. All duties must be performed in accordance with district and state board of education policies and procedures as well as state law regarding nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing services to students and staff members.
  • Ensure health and wellness in the school.
  • Perform duties in accordance with district and state board of education policies and procedures.
  • Comply with state law regarding nursing practice.
  • Assist with medically fragile children included in our classrooms.
Qualifications

Current Illinois RN License and certification in CPR/AED are required.
