Medical Device Configuration Specialist

Nihon Kohden America is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Technician to join our team in Configuration, Manufacturing, and Repair of medical devices. As an Electronics Technician at Nihon Kohden America, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate configuration, assembly, and repair of medical devices.
About YouWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with 1+ years of experience in medical device configuration or assembly/repair, or equivalent experience in computers repairs or configuration, or assembly and calibration of electronic devices. Strong knowledge of electronic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic principles is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities- Assume responsibility for the timely and accurate configuration of capital equipment, manufacturing of NKA equipment, and repair of defective or damaged products for some Nihon Kohden product lines.
- Accurately document configuration, calibration, assembly, and repair of work performed.
- Stay technically current with all Nihon Kohden PM products lines.
- Assume responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relations, communication, and coordination with Company personnel and management.
- Assist technical support personnel as needed.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing, and to receive and understand verbal and written instructions in English.
Compensation and BenefitsThe anticipated hourly range for this position is $19.00 to $28.00. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, experience, and location.
