Location:Wilmington, DEAbout the Job:
This 12-month contract position involves working with IBM-Z/OS COBOL, CICS, IMS DB/DC, DB2, VSAM, JCL, CA7, and Changeman/Endeavor Mainframe application development tools and IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solution.
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proficient in coding in one or more languages, such as zO/S connect and Kafka integration (a plus)
- Experience in creating APIs and integrating with AWS (a plus)
We are looking for a skilled developer who can work efficiently in a large corporate environment, maintaining code quality and meeting project deadlines. The ideal candidate should have overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, be proficient in modern programming languages and database querying languages, and have solid understanding of agile methodologies like CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
Additionally, the candidate should have exposure to cloud technologies, banking domain knowledge, and JAVA exposure. They must also be comfortable with the client's expectations and willing to provide written confirmation upon onboarding.
