Job Title: Senior Construction Manager

At Boston Properties, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage construction projects from inception to completion, including design, procurement, and construction phases.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including construction managers, engineers, and technicians.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of construction professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex construction issues.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, including project management tools and building information modeling (BIM) software.
