About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at General Mills. As a key member of our manufacturing group, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient storage and movement of raw materials, ingredients, and finished products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts and high-lift equipment to transport materials and products within the warehouse and production areas.
  • Select, prepare, and load products for outbound shipment according to customer specifications.
  • Responsible for the storage of raw materials, ingredients, or finished products, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimal waste.
  • Receive, unload, and inspect inbound ingredients and packaging materials, verifying quality and quantity.
  • Perform all sanitation tasks for shipping and receiving areas, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance and efficiency.
  • Assist in training new employees, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent required; experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Forklift license/certification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting.
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental conditions and wear protective clothing and equipment as required.
  • Willingness to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery and with allergens present in a food environment.
