Packaging Operator Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Operator to join our team at Ken's Foods. As a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for operating production equipment efficiently and safely, maintaining quality and production standards, and ensuring compliance with corporate standards and systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Operate equipment on packaging lines to ensure efficient and safe production
* Maintain quality and production standards while operating equipment
* Possess overall knowledge and understanding of the entire production line
* Stack and un-stack cases; pack boxes
* Inspect bottles and cases for quality and safety
* Communicate and understand numerous product changes, boxes, labels, etc.
* Complete necessary paperwork
* Ensure compliance with corporate standards and systems to monitor food safety, food safety culture, quality, and facility cleanliness

**Food Safety Responsibilities:**

* Produce product free of contamination
* Follow all Ken's Foods SQF, Security, and GMP policies
* Report any suspicious activities anywhere in or around the plant
* Inspect work area for any possible product contamination issues on a continuous basis
* Report any leaking or spilled product immediately

**Requirements:**

* High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent
* Up to one month to three month related experience or training
* Equivalent combination of education and experience
