Job Title: Counselor - Level 4

About the Role:

New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a qualified Counselor - Level 4 to join our team. As a Counselor, you will work with patients to complete intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork. You will also document patient progress through counseling and interaction through groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete patient psychosocial and individualized treatment plans within the required time frame.
  • Identify any clinical/case management needs and work to address those needs.
  • Perform individual, group, and family counseling as required.
  • Report patient abuse, neglect, and exploitation as required.
  • Report patient grievances as required.
  • Educate patients in all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues, and steps to recovery.
  • Obtain Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photo identification.
  • Assist in monitoring all patient activities on center premises.
  • Actively participate in community relations activities as directed and authorized.
  • Ensure compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 (Federal Confidentiality Regulations) and 45 CFR, Parts 160 & 164 (HIPAA).
  • Obtain or maintain proper licensure and/or certification according to specific state requirements.
  • Participate in all staff meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with local, State, Federal, and Colonial Management Group, LP rules, regulations, and policies.

Requirements:

  • Education/Licensure/Certification: Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 500 hours of experience in substance abuse.
  • Skill and Ability: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to multitask, prioritize, and be dependable and reliable.
