We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Team Car Care dba Jiffy Lube. As a Certified Inspector, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the continued success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Perform state specified inspections on vehicles, evaluating all aspects of safety and emissions.
- Gather and input guest and maintenance information into our computer system.
- Review oil options, vehicle manufacturer recommendations, and previous services to provide expert advice to our customers.
- Recap guest requested services, including pricing and answer any questions.
- Escort guests to our lounge area and inform them of available amenities.
- Communicate additional services requested to our upper management team and gather new items/parts for installation/service.
- Review invoiced items with guests, accept payment for services, and inform guests of value-added items.
- May be asked to perform inspections at other locations within a 10/15-mile radius of our home store location.
- Valid certification to perform automotive state, safety, emissions, and/or smog inspections.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and teammates.
- Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds.
