Job Title: Admissions Officer

Join Penn State University Talent Acquisition as an Admissions Officer and contribute to the success of our recruitment and admissions team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for recruiting the most qualified and diverse class to Penn State DuBois while providing exceptional admissions experiences for students and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and engage with prospective students, parents, and counselors to promote Penn State DuBois and its academic programs.
  • Represent the campus and University at recruitment events, traveling extensively to high schools, college fairs, and other off-campus events.
  • Provide in-take services, responding to general requests from individual applicants, parents, families, and counselors.
  • Assist in the creation, design, coordination, and delivery of presentations at recruitment and/or student aid events for prospective students.
  • Coordinate and host field trips and visit opportunities for prospective students to the Penn State DuBois campus.
  • Manage application follow-up and develop communication strategies to reach student applicants.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in college admissions is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong presentation skills.
  • Proven time management skills and ability to manage concurrent projects.
  • Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
