Cross Country Allied is seeking a traveling Radiation Therapist for a temporary position.
Position OverviewAs a Radiation Therapist, you will play a crucial role in the treatment of patients diagnosed with cancer through the use of radiation therapy. Collaborating closely with radiation oncologists and the broader cancer care team, you will operate advanced radiation equipment, deliver precise treatments, and provide essential education to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize medical imaging to guide treatment delivery.
- Administer radiation treatments as prescribed by oncologists.
- Support patients emotionally and provide information regarding their treatment plans.
- A minimum of 1 year of recent experience in radiation therapy.
- ARRT Certification is required.
- BLS Certification (AHA) is necessary.
- Current state licensure (if applicable).
