About The Job

The Boyd Group is seeking a skilled Automotive Systems Repair Specialist to join our team. This role involves performing diagnostic testing, programming, and analysis of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). You will work with shop representatives to determine testing and analysis requirements and advise on needed repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determines testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviews all estimates for repair
  • Performs diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations, and analysis
  • Performs wiring repairs
  • Advises shop of needed repairs
  • Keeps inventory of stock, communicating with support staff for needed orders and verifying order receipts
  • Writes, prints, and emails service invoices
  • Collects signature or payment for work performed
  • Delivers completed invoices and payments to the office in an orderly manner
Qualifications and Skills
  • Knowledge of OE scan tools
  • Ability to learn new tools as needed
  • Knowledge of wiring repair procedures
  • Ability to service A/C systems
  • Possesses diagnostic skills in the automotive trade
  • Basic computer knowledge, including using email, spreadsheet, and messaging systems
  • Willing and able to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, and the like
  • Must possess a high school degree or GED equivalent
  • 4-10 years related service technician experience required
