Job Summary

GLC On-The-Go is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and applying necessary restraints.
  • Assist the physician during procedures, including passing instruments, monitoring the patient's vital signs, and maintaining a sterile field.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines, to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize departmental efficiency.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a cath lab or related healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain a sterile field and follow infection control protocols.
  • Knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound.
