Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Chassis Product Manager to lead the development and management of our server chassis products. This individual will be responsible for reviewing product design and specifications, controlling product schedules, and ensuring timely product launches and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the product life cycle of server chassis products, including product development and mass production phases.
  • Create and present chassis product roadmaps to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to review product specifications and designs, ensuring competitive and high-quality server chassis products.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure timely product launches and deliveries.
  • Work closely with overseas ODM vendors on server chassis product design and development, design review, and production ramp-up.
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to launch and promote new chassis products.
Requirements:
  • BS/MS degree in an engineering discipline is highly desirable.
  • 8+ years of experience in the server or IT hardware industry is preferred.
  • Product development and management experience in server chassis mechanical, thermal, and system design.
  • Strong knowledge of server system architecture, chassis, hardware, and applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage from technical details to big-picture thinking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse team.
