Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, the HR Generalist operates both independently and collaboratively to facilitate and manage talent acquisition, employee engagement, and initiatives aimed at attracting and retaining exceptional talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative assistance for various HR and talent initiatives. Facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding processes. Address employee inquiries as necessary.
- Oversee the requisition process from approval through onboarding, guiding hiring managers throughout the selection journey.
- Conduct regular follow-up meetings with hiring managers to ensure the recruitment process is timely and effective.
- Develop data, reporting, and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of our talent acquisition strategies.
- Identify and propose solutions to address challenges and opportunities, streamlining and enhancing recruitment processes.
- Assist with temporary staffing administration.
- Prepare HR invoices for processing.
- Maintain employee personnel records.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- Ability to uphold confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information.
- Proficient in office applications and software, along with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
- A collaborative team player with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Capacity to prioritize and manage competing demands effectively.
- Self-motivated and driven with a strong sense of urgency.
- High adaptability to ambiguity and a rapidly evolving environment.
- Experience in creating and managing Excel spreadsheets (e.g., V-lookup, graphs, pivot tables).
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Human Resources or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an HR role.
