About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at a top-rated hospital in Lawrenceville, Georgia. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare sterile operating rooms for surgeries, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Sterilize equipment and instruments, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Stock adequate supplies for surgery, ensuring that all necessary materials are readily available.
  • Prepare patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites, promoting a safe and comfortable experience.
  • Provide support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies, working closely with the surgical team.
  • Track surgical supplies, maintaining accurate records and ensuring that all necessary materials are available.
  • Stay up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
  • Work effectively with surgeons, surgical assistants, nurses, and other members of the surgical team, fostering a collaborative and respectful environment.
  • Contribute to providing exceptional patient care, prioritizing the needs and well-being of each patient.
Requirements
  • Education: Surgical Technologist degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of Surgical Technologist experience required.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • License: Active unencumbered Georgia state Surgical Technologist license.
