We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist First Assistant to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage supply inventories, surgical equipment, and operating room suite readiness
  • Provide clinical and technical assistance during operative and invasive procedures
  • Support Surgical, CVOR, and GI services to provide an effective and safe patient/staff environment
Requirements
  • 2 years of relevant CST FA experience - CVOR, Cardio Thoracic Vascular, Open Heart, Placing Valves, CST certification required
  • Must be proficient in the English language
  • Associate degree or technical certificate/diploma in a related field
  • Certified Surgical Technologist
  • Current certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA), or through the National Surgical Association as a Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA)
  • American Board of Surgical Assistants (ABSA) SA-C
  • BCLS Required by the American Heart Association
