About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team at Skookum Aerospace Manufacturing, a leading national non-profit organization dedicated to creating opportunities for people with disabilities. As a Janitorial Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean offices, hallways, and high-traffic areas, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
  • Clean entrances and exits, including taking out trash and sweeping/mopping/vacuuming
  • Clean restrooms, including sanitizing and cleaning toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls, and doors
  • Dust surfaces in lunch/coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker areas, and dust-free areas
  • Clean stairwells, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and wiping handrails
  • Clean portable showers, including cleaning shower stalls, wiping down surfaces, and restocking supplies
  • Restock supplies daily
  • Maintain lockers, including cleaning and organizing
  • Clean floors, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, waxing, and buffing

Requirements:

  • 6 months of janitorial experience preferred
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time
  • Valid state driver's license required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access
