Civil Construction Estimator Job Description

Michael Page is seeking a skilled Civil Construction Estimator to join our team. As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction project activities to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
  • Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to representatives of the owner or developer.
  • Direct and supervise construction or related workers.
  • Prepare contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors.
  • Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator.
  • Must have experience bidding on jobs size of $10-100 million.
  • Civil and site/industrial construction experience is a must.
  • Construction Management, Architecture, or Relevant Degree a plus but not required.
