Job Summary

Opelousas General Health System seeks a skilled CNA Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supervision to our Certified Nursing Assistants.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care and activities of daily living, including hygiene, comfort, and ambulation.
• Function as an assistant to the nurse as assigned, ensuring seamless care delivery.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records, promoting transparency and accountability.
• Demonstrate empathy and cultural sensitivity when interacting with patients and families.
• Act as a patient advocate, promoting their rights and well-being.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to achieve performance improvement goals.
• Perform related work as required, ensuring a safe and clean environment.

Requirements

Certificate and completion of a state-approved CNA program are required. Additionally, CNA certification and CPR certification are necessary for this role.
