">About the Role">

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fundraising Strategist to join our team at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to increase philanthropic revenue.

">Key Responsibilities">

  • Fundraising Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that aligns with the museum's goals and objectives.">
  • Prospect Research: Conduct research to identify new potential donors and prospects, and develop strategies to engage them.">
  • Gift Solicitation: Work closely with senior leaders and volunteers to solicit gifts from major donors and corporations.">
  • Event Planning: Assist in planning and executing high-profile events, galas, and exhibitions to engage donors and promote the museum's mission.">
  • Reporting: Provide regular reporting and analysis of fundraising performance to senior leaders.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, non-profit management, arts administration).">
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in development, preferably in a museum or arts organization.">
  • Proven track record of success in fundraising, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed annual goals.">
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.">
  • Familiarity with Raiser's Edge NXT software or similar donor management systems.
