Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team at Perpetual Labor Sourcing. As a Sheet Metal Mechanic, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products and equipment
  • Operate and maintain various sheet metal machinery
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Measure, cut, bend, and form metal components to required specifications
  • Install HVAC systems, ductwork, and other metal structures
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations
  • Collaborate with other trades and contractors to complete projects efficiently
  • Troubleshoot and repair sheet metal-related issues

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a sheet metal mechanic or similar role
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Proficient in using hand tools and machinery related to sheet metal work
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions and heights
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus
