Astro Machine Works is a leading comprehensive machining and fabrication facility specializing in custom machine building, precision machined parts, and fabrication services.

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC Mills and Lathes, as well as machining parts to customer specifications and reading and understanding various types of customer prints.

• Set up, program, and operate CNC Mills and Lathes
• Machine parts to customer specifications
• Read and understand various types of customer prints
• Develop and maintain a high level of mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective production processes

• 3+ years of experience or equivalent education/training working with 3, 4, 5-axis programming (Mill) and Live Tooling (Lathe)
• CAM Advanced Programming experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
