About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) team at Raleigh General Hospital. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the CICU
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality care and adherence to hospital policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current state RN license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
  • One (1) year of nursing experience in a critical care setting
