We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Management System (WMS) Specialist to enhance our Supply Chain Solutions division. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency of our logistics and inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Senior Logistics Manager to recommend, develop, and maintain systems that support facility operations.
- Ensure optimal slotting configuration in the warehouse to maximize efficiency.
- Manage staffing performance and foster the development of both exempt and non-exempt employees.
- Develop and maintain interrelated computer systems that support all operational areas, including production, maintenance, and administration.
- Provide comprehensive training on hardware and software systems to users.
- Troubleshoot and enhance all interfaces of the WMS and related hardware.
- Maintain JDA WMS logic to ensure operational satisfaction.
- Work closely with operations to streamline processes and resolve system issues.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for system management.
- Conduct velocity and layout analysis and implement changes as necessary.
- Monitor workload and assist in evaluating and developing direct reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Technical, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse management.
- At least two years of experience with WMS.
- Proficient in SQL server and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and demonstrate problem-solving capabilities.
