About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maternity Nurse to join our team at Providence Newberg Medical Center. As a Maternity Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in maternity care.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by identifying and reporting potential risks and near misses.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Within 90 days of hire, National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics certification.
  • 1 year of nursing experience.
