Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Nintendo. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met across our organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of Nintendo's Quality Program, working cross-functionally to institutionalize processes and practices throughout the company and supply base.
  • Manage quality control activities within the organization, providing functional direction and guidance to the department staff.
  • Manage new supplier onboarding, surveying, auditing, and recommending new vendors to procurement teams.
  • Manage vendors by providing performance and root cause analysis, and onsite audit support.
  • Coordinate with engineering to issue and maintain inspection records, reports, and corrective action plans.
  • Apply various methodologies and tools to analyze processes, determine the effectiveness of the quality system, and identify opportunities to eliminate waste and improve operational performance.
  • Forecast work volume and staffing levels, responsible for budget and resource planning.

Requirements:
  • Ten years quality control experience.
  • Two to three years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Direct experience and a strong understanding of quality control theory, quality standards, practices, and systems.
  • Practical experience and strong understanding of production operations, supply chain management, and materials fabrication.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Access, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and methods.
  • Ability to perform quality system and manufacturing process audits.
  • Undergraduate degree in business, manufacturing, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent.
  • Formal education in quality control or equivalent preferred.
  • Certification as a Quality Manager, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor preferred.

Additional Information:
This is a hybrid position in Redmond, WA, requiring regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for the division. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. The position includes a base salary range of $137,000.00 - $246,500.00 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
