About the Role

Charlie's Produce is a leading wholesale produce company seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, processing orders, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide timely and accurate information to customers about order status and product details.
  • Order Processing: Process customer orders, changes, and returns according to established department policies and procedures.
  • Feedback and Improvement: Provide timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the sales team to meet and exceed customer service expectations.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, especially Outlook and Excel, and able to learn our internal systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal teams.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the produce industry.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Pay: $20-$23 per hour, dependent on experience.
  • Opportunities for Advancement: Potential 90-day performance-based raise and yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure.
