Optical Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Optical Receptionist to join our team at Visionworks. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing patient records, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities- Provide top-notch customer service to patients and clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage patient records, including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Assist with preliminary testing, data collection, and other front desk tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of experience in a medical or optical setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications, such as Microsoft Office.
This is a part-time position, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
