The Erosion Company is seeking a skilled Driver to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for operating a company vehicle and transporting personnel and equipment to various job sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a company vehicle with a 2-3 person crew.
  • Adhere to Company Safety Standards and promote a safety culture among crew members.
  • Load and unload materials as needed.
  • Remove, fill, compact, and prepare the terrain.
  • Install silt fencing and erosion control blankets using a variety of hand tools.
  • Perform site clean-up and reload leftover materials after the job assignment is complete.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and three years verifiable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Must pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screen.
  • Ability to understand/follow directions and take instructions in English.
  • Physically able to walk, bend, squat, and lift to 50 lbs.
  • Work under inclement weather conditions such as rain, heat, and cold.
  • Must have prior work experience as a driver.
  • Must have prior experience in operating small machinery such as Bobcat and other excavating equipment.
  • Prior experience driving or ton trucks, with a 20+ foot trailer attached, fully loaded.
  • Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) a plus.
